Volunteer FAQs

Do I need any experience to volunteer?

add remove

No experience is required for many of our volunteer roles. We provide guidance, training and support to help you feel confident and comfortable.

How much time do I need to commit?

add remove

Time commitments vary depending on the role. Some volunteers help occasionally, while others support us on a more regular basis. We’ll work with you to find something that fits your availability.

Are background checks required?

add remove

All volunteers will require a Police Check and some volunteer roles require checks such as a Working with Children Check. If this applies to your chosen role, we’ll guide you through the process.

Can I volunteer in more than one role?

add remove

Yes. You’re welcome to select more than one role on the sign-up form, and we’ll discuss what works best for you.

What happens after I sign up?

add remove

Once your EOI form is submitted a member of the team will send you a booking link to lock in a time/day to meet you online to run through quick screening questions and discuss next steps - we require all volunteers to complete an onboarding process specific to your role.
